Lucky Pup Yoga exists to bring wellness, joy, and connection to the DC community. We’re a DC-first space that blends the therapeutic benefits of yoga with the playful energy of puppies — offering weekend puppy yoga and weekday Pilates and vinyasa classes.

Inclusivity

We believe wellness should be welcoming for everyone. Our classes are body-positive, beginner-friendly, and open to all backgrounds. We also offer sliding-scale options for select community events, because accessibility should include financial flexibility too.

Meet the Team

Sophia

A native Washingtonian, Sophia grew up in Cleveland Park and has been part of 18th Street for nearly 20 years. A lifelong fitness enthusiast, dog lover, and dedicated neighbor, she’s passionate about creating a joyful, welcoming space for everyone. Reach her at Sophia@luckypupyoga.com with ideas or feedback.

Ty

Ty is a longtime DC creative, a community builder, and a USMC veteran with a background in art, events, and hospitality. His passion for spontaneity and playfulness — shaped by decades in the city’s creative scene — is what inspired him to help bring Lucky Pup Yoga to life.
